FAQ

Do you haz questions? We haz answers!

Can’t you tell me where it is?

Our fabulous festival site is on the outskirts of Sheffield, reachable by regular public transport and no more than £15 in a taxi from Sheffield city centre. The exact location will be shared with ticket buyers in advance by email.

But I bought a ticket and I STILL haven’t received any info or directions… what do I do?

We’re sending emails out to all new ticket buyers once a week so if you bought your ticket more than a week ago, first thing to do is check your junk mail / spam folder as there’s a good chance your email has snaffled it. Still no dice? Email laurafives@festival23.org.uk and shout ‘WHERE IS MY INFO?!!’

Can I bring my loin fruit?

This year’s Festival 23 programme is aimed at an adult audience and some content may be unsuitable or too challenging for younger audiences. We are not able to offer reduced price tickets for children this year and we ask that you contact us if you are intending to bring under 18s to the event.

Can I bring my dawg?

Apart from your entries in the HUMAN CRUFTS competition, there should be no dogs or pets of any kind on site UNLESS of course they are assistance dogs. Please notify us in advance if you need to bring an assistance dog with you and make sure you keep them under control at all times and clear up their mess.

I really don’t like camping, have you got any posh options?

There are glamping options available and we can also signpost you to nearby hotels. Drop us a line on info@festival23.org.uk if you want to know more.

Festival 23 looks delicious but I’m not sure I could eat a whole one, what should I do?

Well, you have two options. Firstly you could just put your trust in Eris, exercise your best pronoid instincts and dive in with a weekend ticket, OR you could just dip your toe in with a day ticket on sale through our usual outlets.

What will I eat? What will I drink?

We’ve got some fabulous caterers on site, including the Thali Truck and Sunshine Pizza Oven with more to be announced. There will be a licensed bar on site.

Please note there is no running water available on site. There will be toilets with hand sanitisers, and a sauna and showers set up, as well as non-drinking water available for washing etc. Every party will be supplied with a five litre bottle of drinking water on arrival. More bottled water will be available to buy at low prices. No other drinking water is available so please use all water sparingly!

I bought a ticket but now I can’t go, can I have my money back?

We’re reeeeally sorry, but as with most festivals we’re unable to offer refunds. We’d encourage you to try and resell your ticket through our Facebook page – please contact us when you’ve got a buyer and we can transfer the ticket to them.
